What kind of photos should I upload?
Upload 3–5 clear, well-lit photos of your child's face — ideally from different angles (front, slight side). Avoid photos with sunglasses, heavy shadows, or other people's faces very close. The better the photos, the more accurate the illustrated character will be.
How long does it take to receive my story?
Your digital PDF is typically ready within 24 hours of your order. Printed softcover books ship within 2–3 business days and arrive in 5–7 days (standard) or 3 days (priority, included with Hardcover Gift Bundle). International delivery may take 7–14 days.
Can I make changes after I see the preview?
Yes! Before finalizing your order you'll see a full preview of every page. You can request text edits (character name corrections, story tweaks) at no charge. Illustration changes are also available — we want you to be completely happy before anything is printed.
Are my child's photos kept private and secure?
Absolutely. Your photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are used solely to generate the illustrations for your book and are never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or retained longer than necessary. You can request deletion of your photos at any time.

Once Upon Me creates stories for children aged 1–12. During the order process you enter your child's age and we automatically adjust the vocabulary, story length, and themes to be age-appropriate — from simple picture books for toddlers to chapter-style adventures for older readers.
What if I'm not happy with the printed book?
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all printed orders. If your book arrives damaged, with a printing error, or simply doesn't meet your expectations, contact us within 30 days and we'll reprint and reship it free of charge — no questions asked.
